Step cooking
- To prepare the dough, pour a glass of kefir into a deep bowl. It should be warm.
- Then add 1 tsp to kefir. salt and 1 tbsp. l sugar, as well as 1 tbsp. l dry yeast.
- Mix everything well and add 0.5 cups of odorless vegetable oil.
- Immediately pour all the flour to the liquid components.
- Knead a soft plastic dough that should not stick to your hands.
- Roll the dough into a ball and put it in a bowl. We cover it with a towel and set it in a warm place for an hour. During this time, the mass should fit well and increase in volume by 2-3 times.
- Next, you need to prepare a baking sheet. This can be done in two ways: cover the pan with parchment paper and grease it with vegetable oil or grease the pan itself with oil. The first option is more convenient, because you don’t have to spend time washing the pan, it will be enough to wipe it with a clean damp cloth.
- Grease the working surface of the table with vegetable oil (one teaspoon will be enough), lay out the dough (1 kg) and knead it well. It is important that it is supple and soft.
- Divide the dough into 16 equal parts.
- Roll each piece into a small flagellum, make a bundle out of it and put the resulting workpiece onto a baking sheet. You can form buns in the most diverse way, so it’s not necessary to use this. For example, you can divide the dough into two parts, roll each part into a thin cake, make a roll from the cake and carefully cut it into several parts. In this case, get no less beautiful buns. You can also make braids, spikelets, hearts and other options from the dough, who have enough skills and fantasies.
- Buns need to be distributed on a baking sheet at a small distance from each other, each piece will need a place to approach.
- Mix milk (⅓ cup), sugar (1 tsp) and carefully grease each bun.
- Pour cinnamon (1 tsp), sugar (3 tsp) into a small bowl and mix well to make a homogeneous mixture. To make the finished buns truly aromatic, you need to choose high-quality cinnamon. It is best to buy sticks and grind them before use. You should also not choose cinnamon made in China or Indonesia. The most healthy and aromatic cinnamon is grown in Ceylon.
- Sprinkle each billet from above with the prepared powder and leave in a warm place for 10-15 minutes so that they come up.
- Send the baking sheet to the oven, heated to 180 °, for 15 minutes, until golden brown. Pull the finished buns out of the oven, let them stand for about 5 minutes, then put them on a plate, and you can serve them with tea, coffee, cocoa or other drinks.
