- Peel 4 potatoes, 1 medium beet, small onion and medium carrot from all inedible elements. Cut potatoes and onions into small or medium cubes, and grate beets and carrots on a fine grater.

Create a dish
- Set a deep frying pan on a stove and turn on a medium heat. Warm up 2-3 tbsp. l any vegetable oil and send chopped onion into it.
- When the onion is fried until golden brown, add the grated carrots. Mix the ingredients and let them fry for 3-5 minutes until the carrots are soft.
- After that, put the grated beets in the pan. Mix everything again so that the ingredients disperse evenly. Pour 3 soup ladles of finished broth or ordinary water into the pan, cover it with a lid and simmer vegetables for about 10-15 minutes under the lid. At the very end, add the juice of 1 lemon so that the color of the borscht is saturated.
- We also put the pot with broth on the stove and bring its contents to a boil. After that, we send the chopped potatoes to the pan and cook it after boiling the broth for 5 minutes.
- After that, we send all the cabbage to the pan and cook it with potatoes for 10-15 minutes. This rule works if the cabbage is young, and if it is old, we put potatoes and cabbage in the broth at the same time.
- After this time, put in a pan frying beets, carrots and onions. Mix everything thoroughly and let it boil in borsch for 3-4 minutes.
- Next, add 300 g of canned or boiled at home beans, so that the borscht is more satisfying. After that, add salt and season with spices to taste.
- Turn off the fire and cover the pan with borscht lid. We give the dish to stand for about half an hour, so that it is infused, and then pour it on the plates. Garnish with chopped herbs and serve with a slice of bread. To taste, you can add various spices and sour cream.
