- Using a sieve, gradually introduce 3 cups of white flour, while carefully kneading the dough with a whisk.
- When it becomes difficult to knead with a whisk and the mixture thickens, we begin to knead with hands. Flour may take more or less than the expected amount. The main thing is that the dough is thick enough and not sticky.
- Knead the mixture until a soft, elastic and homogeneous mass is obtained. She should not stick to her hands.
Baking preparation
- Cover the metal pan with parchment paper. We put the oven to heat up 200 degrees.
- We begin to form pies. We pluck small pieces from the dough, then roll each of them with a rolling pin to a thickness of about 0.3-0.4 cm.
- We place the filling prepared earlier. Close the edges of the pie, pressing them with your fingers.
- The formed products are moved to a baking tray covered with parchment and sent to the oven for 25-30 minutes. You can check the readiness of products with a toothpick, as the duration of baking depends on the characteristics of the oven.
Filling and Decorating Options
This recipe for a yeast-free pastry test for pies is truly universal, since you can add absolutely any filling to it: vegetable, sweet, meat. To prepare sweet, yeast-free cakes, use fruit or berry jam, jam, jams as a filling. In this case, it is not at all necessary to increase the amount of sugar in the dough itself, since the products will turn out to be quite sweet.
