Step cooking
- If you use beef / pork in a piece, then pre-roll 500 grams of meat in a meat grinder.
- Cut two medium potatoes into small cubes and pour into a bowl with minced meat.
- Bulbs (2 medium or 3 small) are also finely chopped and added to the rest of the ingredients.
- Add salt and pepper to taste. Thoroughly mix the minced meat with potatoes and onions.
- In 120 grams of butter at room temperature add 3 cups flour. Grind to the state of crumbs.
- Pour 0.5 liters of warm kefir into a separate deep bowl and add 5 g of soda to it.
- Pour crumbs of flour and butter into a bowl of kefir and knead a soft, elastic dough.
- Turn on the oven 200 degrees in advance so that it starts to warm up. Divide the entire volume of flour mass into small balls about half a fist in size. If in the future the dough sticks a little, then sprinkle it lightly with flour.
- Roll the ball into a small round layer with a diameter of approximately 20-25 cm.
- Put a sufficiently large amount of the filling in the center and form a loaf by folding the edges towards the center, while leaving the top open.
- In each of them in the middle put a small piece of butter so that they are more juicy. Also, if desired, you can add 1 tablespoon of boiled water.
- Beat the yolk and grease the entire surface of the buns.
- Put them on a baking sheet covered with parchment and send to a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
The dish is ready! It will turn out juicy, fragrant and very appetizing in appearance. Its taste will definitely not leave anyone indifferent. Wak-whites can be served as the main dish in the main meal, as well as an addition to it. They are quite satisfying on their own, so a couple of such things can replace a full meal. Traditionally, it is customary to serve them hot fatty broth.
