Step cooking
- To get started, take two eggs and separate the whites from the yolks. Place the yolk in a separate bowl.
- Now whisk the whites with a mixer until foam, gradually adding part of the sugar, about one third (50 grams).
- Continue whipping the proteins to a steady peak.
- Using a mixer, beat the yolks in the same way.
- Add the remaining sugar (100 grams) while sprinkling one tablespoon of vanilla sugar in parallel.
- Continue mixing well and pour six tablespoons of hot water.
- Pour 250 grams of flour into a separate bowl. Add to it one teaspoon of baking powder. Stir well to distribute it well.
- Gently add the whites to the whipped yolks.
- Pour the flour gradually, slowly, stir.
- When the dough is ready, turn on the waffle iron.
- Using a tablespoon, move the dough into a waffle iron.
- Close the waffle iron, wait five seconds, turn it over. Thus, the mass is evenly distributed, which will make wafers better.
- Wafers take three to five minutes to cook. When the dish is ready, use a wooden or silicone spatula to place the dish on a plate.
- Sprinkle icing sugar on top and the Belgian waffles are ready. Outside they are crispy, and inside they are soft. Enjoy your meal!
