Step cooking
- Before cooking, white beans should be soaked, preferably at least 8 hours. So it will take less time to cook it, and sensations such as bloating will not occur from the finished beans.
- You can just fill the beans with water and leave overnight. We recommend pouring it with hot water, which will be three times larger in volume, and adding one teaspoon of soda. Thanks to soaking, beans will be 80% more useful and will be easily absorbed by the human body. And soda will help her cook in a short time. Soaked beans can be left overnight or for several hours, this is at your discretion.
- After a certain time for swelling, drain the water from the beans, rinse it several times. Fill with water so that the beans are covered with water by 2-3 cm and send to the fire. After the water and beans boil, make the fire small and cook until tender. This may take from 20 to 40 minutes, depending on the variety of beans. The main thing is not to digest the beans so that it remains intact.
- After cooking, drain the water from the beans, leaving a little at the bottom so that the finished dish is not dry. In principle, now you can add a little butter to it and serve it on the table. And you can cook the roast, with it the side dish is tastier.
- We send the pan to the fire, pour two tablespoons of vegetable oil, let it warm. While the oil is warming, peel the onion, rinse, cut into small cubes. We send the onions to the pan and fry until golden brown.
- Fried onions and butter are sent to the beans, add salt and pepper to taste, mix and serve.
By the same principle, you can cook beans with vegetables. To do this, take onions, carrots, bell peppers, two tomatoes. Rinse all vegetables, chop onion into small cubes. Grate the carrots and chop the bell peppers. Tomatoes can be diced or minced.
In a pan, let the vegetable oil warm, add the onion, fry until transparent. Then add the carrots and fry until soft. After that add pepper, simmer for a couple of minutes and add the tomatoes. Stew the vegetables for another two minutes and send to the beans. Spices can be added any. Salt and pepper are the standard set for seasoning this dish.
You can add garlic, chopped herbs. Mix everything and you can serve as a completely independent dish.
