Step cooking
- To begin, rinse under running water about 500-700 g of chicken breast and pat dry with paper towels. Then cut each breast lengthwise into two parts, put the fillet on a cutting board and cover with cling film. Using a kitchen hammer, lightly beat the fillet on both sides to make the meat softer. Then cut each piece of fillet into long strips.
- Peel one onion, rinse and cut into small cubes. Peel one medium carrot, wash and grate it on a coarse grater. Pour 3 tbsp into a deep pan. l vegetable oil and heat on the stove.
- Put sliced chicken fillet in a pan with heated oil. Fry the meat over high heat for about 5 minutes, so that all the liquid evaporates, and the meat turns white and acquires a light golden crust. In this case, periodically stir the meat with a spatula.
- To the fried meat, add chopped onions and 1 tbsp. l flour, mix everything well and fry for 2 minutes. Then pour grated carrots into the pan and fry all the ingredients for a few more minutes, stirring occasionally.
- In a glass, dilute 2 tbsp. l tomato paste in 200 ml of water. Add the tomato sauce to the meat pan and mix everything with a spatula. Instead of tomato paste, you can use tomatoes by rubbing their pulp on a coarse grater. Add salt and black pepper to the meat to taste. If desired, add paprika or any other suitable chicken spices to your liking. Stir everything well and simmer for about 5 minutes until the carrots and onions are cooked over medium heat.
- Then add to the pan 3 tbsp. l sour cream. Peel 3 cloves of garlic and pass them through the garlic, add to the meat. Mix everything well with a spatula, bring the sauce to a boil and simmer for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
The finished dish can be served with any garnish of your choice - boiled rice, pasta, mashed potatoes or cereals. Sprinkle chicken beef stroganoff with finely chopped herbs of your choice for greater grace. As a tasty addition, prepare a salad of fresh vegetables.
